Process

Product dev → bridge production.

No handoff between a design shop and a job shop, and no re-learning your part.

  1. 01

    Concept & DFM

Send a sketch, CAD or a physical part. Engineers who machine review it for manufacturability and cost before quoting.

  2. 02

    Design & Engineering

CAD modeling, or 3D scanning and reverse engineering of existing parts, with fit checked before any metal is cut.

  3. 03

    Rapid Prototype

3D printed or machined in the real material, so what you test is what you'll manufacture.

  4. 04

    Validate & Iterate

Revise and re-cut without vendor handoffs. Machining, laser and welding all happen in-house.

  5. 05

    Bridge Production

Short runs and bridge production on the same programs and fixtures, kept on file so reorders run the same every time.

About

An independent shop in Murrieta, CA.

IndeeSource is your independent resource for product development and production machining — providing design engineering, manufacturing, consulting and sourcing. We're a custom motorsports prototyping and quick-turn fabrication shop helping OEMs, race teams and product developers get parts made, from the first prototype through bridge production.

Everything happens under one roof: 3- and 5-axis CNC machining and turning, laser cutting, sheet metal forming, NC tube bending, welding including aluminum, SLA and SLS 3D printing, and 3D scanning with Romer CMM inspection. One team designs it, engineers it, machines it, cuts it and welds it — no vendor handoffs.

Your fab team. On call.

The fastest-moving companies keep a skunk works: a small, scrappy crew down the hall who can turn an idea into hardware before the meeting's over. Most companies can't justify building that team. So borrow ours.

IndeeSource is a plug-and-play fab team of designers, engineers, ex-racers, fabricators and machinists, all under one roof in Murrieta. Hand us a napkin sketch, a half-finished CAD model or a part that keeps breaking. We'll design it, engineer it, machine it, cut it, weld it, print it and inspect it, then keep making it once it works.

The shop

Built around hands-on product development and racing fabrication, IndeeSource is the Murrieta shop that stays with a job from a rough idea or CAD file through working prototypes, bridge production and repeat parts. You talk to the people making the work, and the same crew stays involved from start to finish.

No problems, only solutions.

FAQ

Before you send it over.

Instant Quote or Start a Project: which do I need?

Have a 3D file for a CNC or 3D printed part? Use the Instant Quote: upload it, get a price in seconds, and an engineer confirms it before anything is made. For product development, bridge production, fabrication, welding or reverse engineering, start a project and we'll review it with you.

Who do you work with?

We're built for businesses, from startups building their first product to established OEMs and race teams. Custom projects, production programs, invoicing and NDAs are all set up as business accounts. That said, anyone, including individuals, can order CNC and 3D printed parts straight from our Instant Quote: upload a file, get a price and pay online.

What should I send for a quote?

A STEP file is best for CNC, and STL works for 3D printing. SolidWorks and Parasolid files are quoted by hand. No 3D model? Send your drawing, sketches, photos or notes with a project inquiry and we'll quote it by hand.

Do you make one-offs or production parts?

Both. There's no minimum order, and one-off prototypes are welcome. When a design is approved, the same team runs short runs and bridge production, with programs, fixtures and inspection records kept on file so reorders match the first run.

Can you run ongoing production parts for an OEM?

Yes. Once a part is proven we can keep making it, from bridge-production batches to repeat runs on a purchase order. Our OEM & production programs page explains how onboarding works, and you can request an OEM account there.

What are your lead times?

Lead times are project-based. We quote a firm ship date with every order. Need it fast? Tell us your deadline and we'll be straight with you about what's possible.

Can you reverse engineer an existing part?

Yes. We 3D scan parts of any size, from a small bracket to a full vehicle, and turn the scan into clean, editable CAD that's ready for machining, printing or fabrication. Worn, discontinued or hand-built parts can be recreated from the physical part.

Do you do fabrication, tube bending and welding too?

Yes: laser cutting in all metals, sheet metal forming, NC tube bending (1/2" to 2" tube) and welding including aluminum, alongside 3- and 5-axis CNC machining. Brackets, plates, tubular frames and suspension arms, and complete assemblies can all come from one shop.

How do you check quality?

Parts are inspected in-house with a Romer CMM and 3D scanning. Tolerances depend on part geometry and material, so call out critical dimensions on your drawing and we'll review them before we quote.

Who sees my CAD files, and will you sign an NDA?

Only the IndeeSource team members working on your job: quoting, engineering, programming, machining and inspection. Your files are used to make your parts, and that's it. We keep them while the part is active so reorders are fast, and we'll delete them promptly whenever you ask. Need an NDA before you send anything? We can send ours or sign yours: tick “Send me an NDA first” on the project form or email info@indeesource.com. The details are on our Confidentiality & IP page.

Can I buy tax-exempt for resale?

Yes, if you're buying parts to resell them. Send us a California resale certificate (CDTFA-230) with your seller's permit number; our Resale & Tax-Exempt Purchases page fills it in for you. We verify the permit with CDTFA, keep the certificate on file and apply it to your qualifying orders once it's reviewed.

Where are you, and can I pick up parts?

We're at 38340 Innovation Ct, Suite 703G in Murrieta, CA. Tell us whether you'd like to pick up locally or have parts shipped, and we'll confirm the options with your quote.
