Which files should I send?
STL or STEP. Both work for an instant 3D print price, and you can upload several files at once.
How does instant quoting work?
Upload your files at quote.indeesource.com, pick SLS or SLA, the material and the quantity, and you'll see a price in seconds. An engineer then checks the details and confirms the final price before anything is printed.
SLS or SLA: which should I choose?
SLS nylon is the pick for tough, functional parts and complex geometry. SLA resin is the pick for smooth surfaces and fine detail, like form studies and presentation models. Not sure? Note how the part will be used and an engineer will advise.
Which materials are available?
SLS nylon and SLA resin. If you need a specific resin or color, mention it in your request and we'll confirm availability with your quote.
What finishes can I get?
SLS nylon parts can be vibratory tumbled for a smoother surface. Beyond that, it depends on the process and the part. Tell us how the part will be used and how it should look, and we'll confirm the options with your quote.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order. One-off prototypes are welcome, and so are batches: upload a set of parts or variants in one go.
Can you machine the part once the design is proven?
Yes. Print to check fit and form, then machine it in production material on our 3- and 5-axis CNC. Same shop, no handoff. Upload a STEP for a CNC quote when you're ready.
What are your lead times?
Lead times are project-based. We quote a firm ship date with every order. Need it fast? Tell us your deadline and we'll be straight with you about what's possible.
Who sees my CAD files, and will you sign an NDA?
Only the IndeeSource team members working on your job: quoting, engineering, programming, machining and inspection. Your files are used to make your parts, and that's it. We keep them while the part is active so reorders are fast, and we'll delete them promptly whenever you ask. Need an NDA before you send anything?
