The drawings and models you send us are often the most valuable thing your company owns. Here's exactly how we treat them.
Your design stays yours
Sending us a file doesn't hand over any rights to it. The CAD, the drawings and the ideas in them remain your property. We use what you send for one job: quoting, engineering and making your parts.
NDAs: ours or yours, before you share
If you'd like an NDA in place before you share anything, we'll get one signed first. Send us yours, or ask for ours: we have a standard NDA ready to go. On the project form, tick Send me an NDA first and leave the files off; we'll get the paperwork done, then you send the files. You can also email info@indeesource.com.
Who sees your files
Only the IndeeSource team members working on your job can open your files: the people quoting, engineering, programming, machining and inspecting your parts.
We don't sell or share your files with anyone else. If part of your job goes to an outside finisher (anodizing, plating, heat treat and so on), they're under confidentiality terms with us and get only what they need to do that step.
How files reach us
Files sent through this website's project form travel over an encrypted HTTPS connection and arrive as attachments in our business email. They are not stored on the web server. Both indeesource.com and the Instant Quote site use HTTPS. Files uploaded to the Instant Quote site, and the quotes themselves, are stored in IndeeSource's own encrypted private cloud.
How long we keep them
We keep your files while the part is active, so reorders are fast and match the last run. Want your files deleted? Ask at any time: email info@indeesource.com and we'll delete them promptly.
No marketing without your written OK
We don't post photos of your parts, name your company or show your project in our marketing unless you've said yes in writing. That's why the electric-motorcycle case studies on this site are anonymized and shown as generic illustrations.
Export-controlled work
IndeeSource is not ITAR-registered. Please don't upload ITAR or export-controlled (EAR) technical data through this website or the Instant Quote site. Call us first at (951) 491-9128 and we'll talk through options.
